What internet camera does Wayzn Smart Pet Door work with?

Currently, we don't have any cameras integrated with the Wayzn Smart Pet Door app. For now, you can use any camera you prefer to detect motion outside the door, alert you, and let you view the area before switching over to the Wayzn Smart Pet Door app to then open the door to let your pet inside.

It is on our roadmap to integrate with multiple camera brands to allow you to view your camera from within the Wayzn Smart Pet Door mobile app. When this feature is available, we will notify our customer community and update this FAQ.

What voice assistants does Wayzn Smart Pet Door work with?

Wayzn works with Alexa and we are actively working on Google which should be available soon. We are investigating Siri Shortcuts integration and will continue to add other integrations where possible based on demand.

How secure is Wayzn Smart Pet Door?

Wayzn Smart Pet Door, when engaged, acts like a lock to keep the door firmly closed until you or your pet opens it, so you can leave the door handle unlocked without sacrificing security. The device acts like a metal stick keeping the door securely closed.

Which communication protocols does Wayzn Smart Pet Door support?

Wayzn integrates with specific devices using Wifi or Bluetooth. Support for Zigbee and Z-Wave is not available at this time.

Does Wayzn Smart Pet Door work with a mobile app?

Yes. The Wayzn mobile app is available as a free download for iPhone and Android devices.
